Following the launch of our new and unique LEAP servicing program, VAS have secured in excess of 35 service, TUS and calibration contracts, covering over 150 furnaces. VAS offer TUS and calibration services with NADCAP compliant instrumentation and paper work. LEAP servicing is a heat treatment service first and has been widely received by the heat treatment market, including sub contract, aerospace, medical, motor sport, automotive and oil & gas Industries.
The LEAP servicing scheme allows our customers to choose from three levels of servicing to best suit their production requirement and specific requirements with their heat treatment equipment.
The fact that VAS are a “Gas Safe” registered company, gives our customers the knowledge & comfort that any work completed by our engineers will always be with the gas safety regulations paramount. Advice is always readily available from our experienced atmosphere engineers & of course our senior management team. Several re-bricks & tempering furnace re-lines have been completed this year, with particular emphasis on the “Re-Brick Plus” offer from VAS. This involves a six monthly “Hot Inspection” following completion of the re-brick where combustion & atmosphere analysis is completed.
Twelve months after the re-brick, VAS’s “Cold Inspection” of the furnace is completed. During this visit, the burners are serviced, mantle tubes are turned & re-sealed among other checks. The furnace is then heated back to temperature prior to a combustion & atmosphere analysis being completed. All this is at no extra cost to our customers.
